About Us
Braneva Precision is a relatively new company, founded in 2014 by Michael Kemmerer and his wife, Anne. Although Braneva Precision is a new company, we have a wealth of experience. We have an “old school” work ethic and pride ourselves on timely delivery of high quality parts at competitive prices. Whether you need a prototype, short or long production runs, we will put our expertise in machine operation, tool-making, programming and engineering to work for you. We would be happy to work with you from design to finished product or component(s). Here are the current capabilities of our company. Please feel free to contact us for a quote or for more information.
Michael:
I have worked in the manufacturing industry for 28 years, primarily focused on EDM machining. In my first 20 years, I operated all types of machines, especially EDM wire, ram and drill machines. Over the last 8 years, I have primarily focused on programming, design and part processing in my role as a senior manufacturing engineer. I have been responsible for all aspects of an EDM department, including fixture design, training and part development. Additionally, I have expertise in laser cutting, welding and etching as well as electropolishing, anodizing, part finishing and assembly.
I have spent many years specializing in medical component manufacturing and have worked with all types of materials, including titanium, stainless, cobalt chrome, Inconel, graphite and various precious metals. I have made everything from bone screws and artificial heart valves to biopsy tools and eye and vascular implants. I am extremely comfortable working with tight tolerances and regularly work with tolerances less than .001".
When I started in this field, my boss told me, “it’s either right or people die.” I have carried that thought with me throughout my career. I do not shy away from difficult work as I find the challenge to be invigorating. I take pride in my abilities, knowledge and innovative approaches.
Anne:
I started my own medical transcription company in 1988. Over the next 25 years, it grew and thrived. Quality workmanship, the ability to consistently meet deadlines and dedication to customer service were essential keys to my success. I believe the blend of our skill-sets will allow us to exceed the expectations of Braneva Precision’s customers.
